Two-Finned Blunas are a very social breed of dragon, living in packs of dragons called “pods.” Blunas are very curious and playful creatures and several dragons in a pod will often “play” with one other, chasing each other around, tossing seaweed back and forth, and riding ocean swells. They are occasionally seen swimming alongside whales and dolphins.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Sparkling Crystal Spring is a two-finned bluna dragon. She is very spiteful and hateful, and her sad and pitiable history is no better. She used to be happy and content, and she was mates with the dragon of her dreams: Midnight Expedition, a handsome black dragon that was an excellent warrior and leader. However, she was far too childish, and it was so that one day, while he was away, she tried and failed to seduce another male. When Midnight Expedition had learned that she was unfaithful, he broke his ties with her, and she began to become sullen. Her sulky feelings turned into bitterness and hate as she watched him become mates with Gentle Moonlit Sky, a dragon he had loved since he was a young male. Deprived of her friends, who did not want to even think of her, and her two children, who refused to call her their mother, she now spends her days in a solitary cave, hissing insults at the happy and joyful couple and maintaining a cold relationship with her arrogant ice dragon mate.
