And look! Its fins have grown larger! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Corsair is adventurous and bubbly. He loves to explore the ocean's depths, both for food and to scout out pretty pieces or coral and shells. He has a small underwater cave where he will stash his finds, but he must protect it vigilantly if he doesn't want other Blunas or sea creatures making off with his collection. Corsair can be a little aggressive with other dragons, but if he gets out of line, one of the adult Blunas will quickly remind him that he isn't nearly as large as they are and that he should know his limits.
