White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Baylavim Yhkam is the second daughter of the cave's white magic expert, and has been chosen to begin a graceful line of white dragons bred with the coveted Holidays. Her name means Peaceful Angel in the human's old tongue, and she bears it with a smile. Much of her day-to-day activity is for show, but she secretly tires of the pomp. Often called Bee, she performs her duties with a practiced grace, not wanting to upset the social standing of her life.
