Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Gummy Bear Racist is just that when it comes to Gummy Bears. He only likes the green ones and all other kinds can sit until they rot or are eaten by someone else. Called Gummy by the other dragons, he is not at all racist when it comes to dragon or even the few people or other creatures that he has met. He likes to meet new dragons and people and is very outgoing. His hatred is saved completely for gummy bears that are not green. Some think that it is because he resembles the green gummy bears but they cannot be certain. All they know is that it saves the other colors for anyone else who wants them.
