Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. This hatchling seems to be filled with a fell, inner flame.

And look! Its wings have grown, and it’s become bigger, more aggressive, and much hotter.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

FlamingMetalSun is a fiesty, but not mean, Hellfire Wyvern hatchling. She's always on the go, playing with other hatchlings or bothering the cooks, she turns up everywhere. Her whole cave loves her, as she is very sweet and kind for a Hellfire. Which means that she doesn't bite hard and rarely throws things. FlamingMetalSun loves to play fight with the other hatchlings, and wins more often than she loses.
