As the nocturnal relative to Sunbeam Drakes, Moonglow Drakes are a secretive breed most active under the light of the moons and stars. They are wary of others, but are known to have incredible loyalty should their trust be won. Catching sight of Moonglow Drakes as they dance amid the moonlight is seen as a favorable omen by those they live near, and tamed individuals are common. They are slightly smaller than their cousins, averaging around the size of a cat.

Though it may appear at first that dragons and drakes have much in common, the two are completely separate species. Drakes are smaller and less intelligent than their cousin species, though both dragons and drakes sit comfortably near the top of the food chain. They are always found bearing antlers and leathery wings. Drakes share many of the same habitats that dragons do, and typically hunt in packs.

HandsomeNightGlory is the best looking Night Glory Drake in his cave. For him, his good looks are effortless and he couldn't care less about them. What he worries about is food. He likes to eat a lot of fruit during the night while he is awake. HandsomeNightGlory is almost obsessed with cherries, a little fruit for a little drake. He spends most of his time awake looking for cherry trees, and when he finds one he almost always strips it of fruit in a couple of nights. He would eat cherries until he exploded if he could, but when he gets too full he often falls out of the tree.
