Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Talon Fang is a born fighter, with claws sharp as daggers and fangs sharper, and with the skills needed to use them. He is a powerful fighter, one choosing to attack from the shadows rather than head-on. Talon's scales are the perfect shades of onyx, ebony, and hematite to blend into the shadows and become invisible to the eyes of all but another black dragon. Talon's only feature that may give away his attack position are his eyes, as they are a bright emerald in color and tend to glow when the moonlight strikes them right. The whip like tail that sits at the base of his spine acts not only as a weapon when needed, but also as a counter balance in flight. A set of powerful legs that will put any other animal to shame, as far as land-speed is concerned, that lead to a very powerful strike when his teeth won't do the job hold him up.
