Flamingo Wyverns are so named for their resemblance to the tropical birds with whom they often share territory. Their most striking feature is the bony black crest over their faces and snouts, larger in males, aiding both in digging up food and protection when fighting for mates. Males are duller in color than females due to their habit of wandering from nest to nest and picking from less algae-rich feeding grounds.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Flamco may be a wanderer but he puts his travels to good use, bringing back gems and other items for his owner and other dragons in the cave. Unlike She's a Little Spitfire however, he doesn't like hanging around hatchlings and doesn't like to recount tales of his adventures to them. He's a bit standoffish but would still help one of them if they were in need, after all healthy hatchlings mean a healthy cave. He'd just rather they be seen and not heard.

It is to be noted that he is not afraid of any dragon in the cave except his mate Terraverde. Angry at how he treated her once he was grown and she was still a hatchling for a few more months she pinned him beneath some rocks. Her display of power caused him to ask to be her mate. He's less stand offish around her as she gets grumpy and jumps on him when he acts that way.

As there are more dragons in the cave their owner has now given them assigned jobs to make the cave run smoother. Flamco is a Long Distance Explorer.
