Spitfires are a desert breed of dragon. Their dull brown bodies contrast with their brilliant turquoise markings, and they only blaze brighter when these dragons fight. Spitfires are notorious for their territorial natures, and the wing-edges of most are ripped and tattered before their first year is out. Spitfires are also noteworthy for their brilliant blue fire, which is used not for hunting or fighting, but rather for making glass caves from the sand, in which the dragons can soak up the sun.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Every dragon in the scroll knows about Abraham Lincoln. Seriously. There is no way to properly describe him without making him seem overpowered, but this studious description-giver will attempt it as best she can.

When Abraham Lincoln came into his leadership position, the southern part of his scroll had seceded. This was because the southern dragons were afraid that Abraham would force them to give up their slave dragons. This was not originally Abraham's plan. However, because of this secession, the Dragon Civil War began. The Dragon Civil War was a bad one. There were many casualties—more so than in any of the previous wars, or any of the wars after. In 863 Abraham issued the Dragon Emancipation Proclamation, which essentially freed all the slave dragons in the southern part of the scroll. When the Dragon Civil War ended, the northern part of the scroll won and the slave dragons were freed. However, it wasn't soon after that Abraham was burnt by a very angry dragon, and he had to step down.
