Vampire Dragons are members of the undead. They sustain themselves by drinking the blood of others. It is said that they are only “alive” at night, and seem dead or asleep during the day, as they cannot endure sunlight for long periods of time. Vampire Dragons can only reproduce by changing the eggs of other dragons, puncturing the shell with their fangs and injecting venom that kills the baby inside.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Orowrath is a peculiar dragon. She is a vampire dragon, and because of that she doesn't hang around other dragons much, but she also doesn't outwardly despise them. If she comes across another dragon, her first instinct isn't to pounce, but slip back into the shadows. Still, those that have come across her has described her gaze as burning with an unknown, deeply unsettling jealousy, so most creatures opt to leave her alone.

Even then, she is capable of compassion, as she keeps the Vampire dragons she has bitten close as some sort of twisted family, amassing a large group of her undead children and grandchildren. Perhaps it is because she is lonely, or because she enjoys the leader position she gets as a matriarch. Still, her children seem content enough to stick around, and they're understandably left alone.
