Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. Except for the occasional flicker of movement, it remains inanimate.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

IcyStones is a happy Stone Dragon hatchling. He spends most of his time mentally chatting to his many hatchling friends while standing still. He might not move more than any of his kind, but his psychic voice is very quick. He talks so fast, that it takes some dragons a little while before they understand what he said. He loves to say something snarky to a passing hatchling and watch them walk away until they get what he just told them.
