Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It has two heads. You expected it to have some color, though.

And look! It has grown wings and changed color! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

A delightfully demented young dragon, this female adores pigeons. The look of pigeons. The feel of pigeons. The smell of pigeons (unless their coop needs cleaning). Creating a makeshift dovecote out of a nearby cave, she spends nearly all of her waking hours with her birds, fussing and cooing over them. But while both heads agree that pigeons are truly wonderfully stupendous, they differ as to why they think so; the red head thinks they're pretty and enjoys racing them while the purple head has grander and totally not unrealistic dreams of using a pigeon army to take over the world.

One day while tending their coop, the duo came across Ragathos, another young split dragon. The two dragons became fast friends, and now spend much of their time playing with each other. They're hoping to enter a competitive pigeon race together sometime soon.
