Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Once called "Innovator", Gravitas was an adept user of spatial magic who attempted to create an alternate Earth in which Dragons could thrive without fear of enslavement or death by humans. However, Gravitas the Innovators spell went wrong. Instead of creating a new Earth he time-shifted the landscape to a state of molten origin. Gravitas attempted reverse the effects of the spell, but the second the life of the present time had come in contact with the geography of the past it was already too late. All life within a few hours dragon flight was gone. Now known as "Calamity", Gravitas wanders the Earth as an outcast of society, stripped of his magical abilities by a spell cast by Guardians of Nature. Gravitas the Calamity has since been driven mad by rage as a result of the other dragons reactions towards himself. He searches for a powerful artifact capable of removing the Guardians spell locking his magical abilities so he may finish what he accidentally started so many centuries ago.
