Ice Dragons are fierce predators who hunt using their extremely cold breath. The breath of an ice dragon can freeze its prey solid in seconds. The body of an ice dragon is so cold that icicles will form along its skin no matter the outside temperature.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Daggerfrost was named for her extra cold frosty breath and her sharper-than-average teeth.  She is one of the beta females in the large Trojevian pack.  Being the first daughter of the alpha female Trojevia, her status as a beta female isn't surprising.  Daggerfrost usually finds the hatchlings annoying unless they are related to her by blood, though she isn't outright unfriendly to them.  After all, who would want an angry dragon challenging your position in the social status  Daggerfrost is a brilliant fighter, and she picks up tactics with each battle.  She teaches her children and grandchildren how to fight early on.  Despite her fierce ability in battle, Daggerfrost is more of a pacifist (with a hot temper).
