Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

The rambunctious son of Mint Flame and Menta Drake, Little Menthe is almost always causing mischief and getting into trouble, from digging up Blossoming Cherry's saplings to chewing on Magical Origami's tail. However, the dragons in Shied Tail and Dark Drakon's herd still care for the baby dragon a great deal and always overlook his antics, understanding that he is still very young and can't be expected to behave perfectly quite yet.
