Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. Its eyes glow brightly at night, and it enjoys attacking insects and small animals.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

I NOMMED ONZ MYSELF is so named because of the somewhat amusing habit it has of chewing on its tail at awkward times.

This is exemplified by its hatching ceremony. It popped out of its egg and guess what it did immediately that's right, it started gnawing on its tail.

Aside from this unusual quirk, it's quite a nice, friendly, decent black dragon.

Its mother, a high born gold, was disgusted with it when it was born black, instead of fine gold as she had expected, so she tossed it away. It was later taken in and hatched by a kind Frill dragon (who as everyone knows, are just a bit... crazy).

Later, it found itself being used as an experiment by its curious dragon-master, which left it forever stuck as a hatchling. It didn't mind that part, except for that it meant that its gender would never be known, as it is to this day.
