Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

When Goldoron was young, he used to enjoy creating earthquakes for pleasure, until one day he went too far and caused a landslide that killed a nearby village of people. Goldoron resolved never to create an earthquake again. However, from time to time his earth magic releases while he sleeps, and he awakens in the midst of terrors. For this reason, now that he he is older, he spends his time in a remote cave, secluded from all other living things. He is occasionally visited by other dragons, who appreciate his gentle wisdom and go to him to learn the quality of restraint.
