Daydream Dragons are the hosts of daydreams and fantasies. They spend the majority of their time sitting on clouds, dropping daydreams down into the minds of people passing by. Humans who live near Daydream Dragons must be especially careful not to let their thoughts wander, or they could end up spending hours or even days in a trance-like waking dream state.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Fall From Clouds, being a typical Daydream dragon, spends much of his time lazily tossing daydreams down from his cloud onto various passers-by; up-tight, stressed humans are his favourite targets as he specializes in conjuring dreams to induce relaxation, his most preferred thoughts including napping on warm, white-sanded beaches and swimming in crystal clear oceans with schools of brightly coloured fish. He often gets lost in his own daydreams, and getting caught up in a strong wind whilst lazing on his cloud often gets him into trouble with Quietness, his frozen yet decidedly more mature brother, as it is usually up to him to find out where Fall drifted to. However, a quick toss of a 'holiday dream' to Quietness tends to calm him down, and both dragons make their way back to the clouds over the home cave in a blissfully thoughtful silence.
