Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It’s extremely curious and seems to enjoy exploring the area around it.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Fisaera Aeron-Alara is a nice mix of red and purple.  She grew up loving the Red Dragon story books, and suddenly decided after getting her wings she'd forever stay daddy's little princess.  Her father's side of the family gives her the ability to spit out some flames, and her mother's side makes her care more about butterflies and dragonflies and fireflies and... well... you get the picture.
