Storm Dragons are the masters of the skies. They are excellent fliers and land only to rest and eat. In addition, they have full control of the weather. They are very hot-tempered and easily angered. They will attack any human that bothers them, conjuring strong winds and dangerous lightning.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Cloud is probably the best dragon is his brood. All his older siblings and parents care for little but themselves. Cloud is a different, though. His parents had Storms so they could have powerful dragons working for them. As such, Cloud and his sisters, Report and Forecast, have always been labeled as tools by the family. But, while his sisters are solely dependent and loyal to their mother, Cloud is little more rebellious. He sees through all the corruption and toxicity and wants to have a normal life. He wants to get away from his family and be on his own, but can't get out from under his mother's claws. He lacks any courage to speak out in front of her, let alone disobey her, but is trying desperately to run anyway.
