Cheese Dragons are not actually alive. They are enchanted items of food that act almost identically to dragons. They have no need to eat, but they must “live” in humid environments or they will dry out and harden.

Cheese Flyer is a cheese dragon who is a popular 'dragon' out of all of Kieran's dragons. Hatchlings like to play with Cheese Flyer, since Cheese Flyer is also very playful. Though not actually alive, Cheese Flyer seems to act just like a living dragon would, and he is treated just like every one of Kieran's other dragons.
