Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It’s extremely curious and seems to enjoy exploring the area around it.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Offspring of a mother who demands everything prim and proper and a sire who believes image is everything, Nawthardly has been held to very rigid standards. This has driven him somewhat nuts.

When out of sight of his parents, Nawthardly is as rebellious as they come. He disdains requests to do anything helpful unless he thinks his parents will know about it. He gets into all kinds of predicaments but has learned to look innocent so that he does not get blamed. His parents believe he is perfect; other dragons distrust him but cannot prove their suspicions.
