Lumina Dragons received their names from their highly reflective scales, which—at times—seem to glow. They are vain, always strutting about and preening incessantly; if one of their scales has so much as a scratch or a defect, they’ll remove it. Luckily, their scales grow back quickly, and each new growth is more beautiful than the last. These narcissistic dragons live in small groups and prefer to surround themselves with beauty. The females guard their territory and eggs while the males search for vegetation to eat.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
This narrow-eyed female not only savors beauty, she demands it; anything and everything upon which she lays her eyes must be beautiful beyond measure. While this petty obsession of hers was once directed at mundane things like polishing stones or clearing away dead branches, it all changed when she came across a human battlefield. Discontent with the horrible appearances of the dead, she took on the role of embalmer and undertaker, cleaning the corpses, keeping flesh from rotting further, and creating magnificent tombs and sepulchers for the fallen. While her work is grisly, no one can deny her skill, and poor families have gotten into the habit of leaving their dead in her territory, where their bodies will be given a far finer resting place than any their relatives could afford to give them.
