Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It’s very light and enjoys bouncing all around.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Blimpy's Sidekick believes that Blimpy is really a crime fighting superhero, and he fancies himself to be her sidekick.

Wherever Blimpy goes, Sidekick goes, ready to say, "Take THAT, you evil scum!"

Whenever Blimpy causes Midnight Predator to curl into a weeping ball, Sidekick will smile and nod approvingly, believing that is Blimpy's intent, and that her obliviousness is really just an act.

Sidekick's greatest dream is to someday be a superhero as great as Blimpy, and every day he practices his catchy lines and snappy comebacks.
