Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Coppertone Thuwed is known for being brave and bold, although this means that she sometimes comes off as brash to the other members of the Odd Clan. She tries to encourage the other clan members not to worry too much about things, and to not over think matters.

She often scolds the Clan leader for spending too much time in his head. In Coppertone's opinion, the only way to enjoy life is by living it without over-analyzing it.
