Sunset Dragons are closely related to sunrise dragons. However, their behaviors differ greatly. Sunset Dragons generally live alone or in small packs. They are more active in the evening, hunting and performing all of their daily tasks as the sun sets.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

The King of the Sunset Dragons of his cave, Twilit King Zant flies over the evening skies, watching his Twilit dragons. All of the dragons in Zant's cave have Twilit in their name, and when the King names his children, he hopes that they will also gain the prefix "Twilit". However, Twilit King Zant wonders what will happen when one of his children become Sunrise dragons. How will this affect his life

Zant is very vain, and will spend his time gazing at his reflection in the orange waters of an evening pool. He is the largest Twilit dragon of his cave, and he was the first Twilit dragon to enter.

He has been trying to keep his bloodline pure, but he has bred with a Skywing dragon to produce his first Twilit hatchling. He hopes that Twilit Senkii is the first of many.
