Terrae Dragons are primarily herbivores who prefer to eat from the tops of trees. However, due to their massive size, they must rely on small, specialized scales to absorb and convert energy from the sun. Since they live in tightly-knit groups, this form of energy absorption helps preserve the forests in which these dragons reside.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

This dragon has an odd past on it's way to ending up with a trainer. Unlike most dragons, who are born in the cave, this dragon came from a forest far away called the forest of stones. This forest is strange, because it has gigantic fossilized trees. It was born in the forest of stones, where it learned many unique flying techniques and different ways of collecting sunlight by using rocky outcroppings to reflect it. It's parents were migrating to a place to spend the winter, and a terrible storm caused the father who was carrying the egg to drop it over the dragon cave. The egg was quickly rolled over to the abandoned egg pile, because it was a stranger's. Finally, that was where it was picked up by the dragon trainer Kalistik. Now it enjoys sunning itself on the rocks of the cave that Kalistik's dragons call home, and play fighting with its mate Taig, very protective of their eggs when they have them. Kalistik has also been riding him occasionally, which he enjoys for the teamwork.
