Thunder Dragons are the masters of electricity. Their wings gather energy as they soar through the clouds, and when they clap their wings together they can create devastating arcs of lightning. They can stay airborne nearly indefinitely, landing only to sleep and breed; they catch their prey from the air and take moisture from the clouds. A thunder dragon’s roar is considered to be an omen of misfortune.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Bo's Toxic Thunder Doom is so named because of the sparks of lightning that constantly cover her toxic-coloured hide. This female is a member of the "Doom" lineage, thus "Doom" at the end of her name. Bo's Toxic Thunder Doom is easily angered, and can conjure up dangerous thunderstorms, but is also easily pleased and calmed down. She can charge up dangerously high volts of electricity, but doing this is mainly just for showing off to males she finds attractive. One male, Bo's Volcanic Doom, enormously attracts Bo's Toxic Lightning Doom, but the male seems to find her a freak. One of her main habits is flying up to the sky, then following Bo's Volcanic Doom to wherever he goes from huge altitudes. Once, Bo's Toxic Lightning Doom saw Bo's Volcanic Doom seeing another female and she was so enraged she zapped the female with one thousand volts of electricity and killed her! From then on, Bo's Volcanic Doom has been watching the skies. Whenever he looks in her direction, she smiles.
