Moonstone Dragons are named after the orb on their tails, which resembles the gem of the same name. They are nocturnal and gather energy through the absorption of moonlight with their orbs. They seem to glow with a lunar light and are a very gentle breed, feeding off of plants and the moons’ power.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

There is nothing that Kaze loves more than flying through the night sky. Cool, fresh night air fills her lungs at every breath and curls under her wings to lift her further into the welcoming embrace of the starry heavens. She dances across the vast expanse of moonwashed clouds that surround her lofty mountain home to a melody only she can hear; flapping her wings to boost her higher into the sky and twirling mid-air as she reaches the peak of the jump, then floating gently down until her toes just barely graze the fluffy surface of the clouds, only to snap her wings down once more, launching her into her next flip or spin. She lives with her mate, Yuki, in a cave at the top of a mountain just above the cloudline, with a network of winding tunnels and halls leading down to the caverns near the base, and deeper into the heart of the great mountain lies thermal hot springs where they can wash the snowmelt from their feathers and relax their tired muscles after a long night of dancing.
