Striped Dragons come in a dazzling array of colors complemented by an intricate pattern of stripes. These bright colors and patterns help attract their favorite food, insects. Because their prey is so tiny, striped dragons must spend a large portion of their day eating. The color of the offspring is usually determined by the dragon’s mate.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Striped dragons are well known for their insectivore diet, and for many long years this male was no different. But one day--one fateful, wonderful, sunny day--a snap at a fly landed his jaws on a blackberry, and oh, how the flavor EXPLODED. Well he remembers how he stood there, swaying and dazed, in awe of the wonder of the taste he had just experienced--and determined to have more of it. A long time has passed since then, and the stripe's desire to supplement his bug munching with blackberry crunching has since expanded into a fully fledged business; creating and selling everything from the fresh fruit to delicious pies and jams, the product he's most proud of is his drinks; he feels they convey the essence of his beloved blackberries better than any other substance, including the raw fruits themselves.
