Copper Dragons are masters of stealth, slipping silently and swiftly through the forests and jungles where they live. Often hunting in groups, their prey rarely know they are being stalked until the dragon’s at their throat. In the air they are agile and skilled. Copper Dragons prize family groups, spending large amounts of time teaching their young skills. So great is their love of life and family that they will sometimes adopt orphaned dragons of other breeds to raise.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Skylasta was always the runt, but growing up in the wilderness she learned to use her size to her advantage. It's easy to hide when one is small, though it is equally easy to wind up as some predator's meal. She spent her hatchlinghood constantly looking over her shoulder and always sleeping with one eye open. Now, happily among the dragons of the human Hawktalon's cave, she lives in pampered comfort; during winter nights the wind is so sharp that it could cut a Guardian's tail-shield, and summer days grow so hot the Ices virtually become Waters, but compared to her old life, it is paradise. Though still seared within every inch of her being are her old instincts to run at the slightest sound. Many take her skittish nature as cowardice, but she says simply, "Cowards are the ones who live to see the battle's end."
