Ochredrakes are a curious species with a wide array of mutations and interesting behaviors. Not as intelligent as normal dragons, they only breed with other drake species. While they may not be bright, ochredrakes are flamboyant and fun-loving with amazing, chirping voices to sing with, and tame readily in the presence of a gentle hand.

Though it may appear at first that dragons and drakes have much in common, the two are completely separate species. Drakes are smaller and less intelligent than their cousin species, though both dragons and drakes sit comfortably near the top of the food chain. They are always found bearing antlers and leathery wings. Drakes share many of the same habitats that dragons do, and typically hunt in packs.

Like Rotochre, Meineochre is an oddity in the cave. He can bend in ways others can't. His wings don't have the bat-like fingers most others do and instead, more resemble a bird's wing structure minus the feathers. His tail curls in ways that could make a whiptail jealous. His spine is as flexible as a cat's. The only thing the others don't find something to envy on this drake is his soft skin that seems almost like he doesn't even have scales. In fact, it's more like leather.

Just like Rotochre, the others allow Meine to live amongst them like any other dragon, singing his songs and dancing that odd ritualistic dance of his. He's beginning to learn how to talk, but for now, he just has to settle with telling others what's on his mind through biting.
