Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Always on the lookout for the next big success, Apevket decided to replace some of the pre-play serials, which had gotten stale, with zany standalone sketches. The first few were duds, being mostly song parodies with little characterization, but from such inauspicious beginnings came some of Roaring Lion Productions' greatest stars.

Nukim took over from Jeelar as primary antagonist, at least for Tulsier. With an outsize ego, an actual air of menace, and an explosive temperament, he's a far more convincing enemy than the frilled dragon ever was. Of course, given that he's up against Tulsier, he never wins, but at least it's his own arrogance and hotheadedness that get in his way, as opposed to Jeelar's childlike innocence. A born ham, Nukim never hesitates to toss a few spells around to add a little extra bang to a sketch.
