Magi Dragons are, as their name suggests, primarily magic users. They rarely use physical forms of attack. They eat anything they can kill, which is almost everything. They won’t kill unprovoked except when hunting, although they may kill humans if in danger. Their strong magic makes them one of the most feared breeds of dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Odin's magical specialty is linguistic magic—the power of the written or spoken word. He can draw great power from a poem, a song, or even just the right word (or letter!) in just the right place. This is something of a problematic talent for a dragon, as their speech is telepathic rather than verbal—and telepathic words, carrying as they do the emotions and sensations of the speaker, are often too powerful for a linguistic mage to use casually. Therefore, he does not speak mind-to-mind very often to dragons or humans— instead, he has psychically bonded with a flock of intelligent ravens (whose brains are not complicated enough to receive or trigger his magical gifts) who speak for him. This has the unplanned effect of making him the magi dragon most often sought after by humans in need of help, since humans are often more comfortable with verbal speech (even from a bird's beak) than they are with the mental touch of a powerful dragon.
