Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

The cold snow is silent. The silence of the snow covers all in its quieting blanket. Cresento is like the snow. Her soft, downy wings soften any sound that might come about from her movements. She moves silently, careful to interrupt the quietude as little as possible. She's a lonely dragon, preferring the tranquility of solitude rather than the company of others. She finds beauty in herself, beauty in the trees and sky around her, and beauty in the world. Her spirit takes the shape of a limitless joy, casting a strange luminance on the ground at her feet, the air around her wings, and most of all, this luminance glows in her eyes and laughter.
