Storm Dragons are the masters of the skies. They are excellent fliers and land only to rest and eat. In addition, they have full control of the weather. They are very hot-tempered and easily angered. They will attack any human that bothers them, conjuring strong winds and dangerous lightning.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Over the centuries, the storms that sweep his world are becoming more and more violent. Many are beginning to fear that the end of their world is coming due to the fierce nature of these massive tempests. To stabilize the weather and prevent disaster, several Storm Dragons formed what is known as the Great Weather Manipulation Project (GWMP). Born and raised as a potential member of GWMP, it took Namean a while to settle into his role as a Controller. As a hatchling, Namean wanted to do anything but help the Project. He felt he would be a fierce warrior who would terrorize his enemies, until he saw his first battlefield. Then he decided he would be a healer dragon, until he realized he could never be as powerful or helpful as the White dragons who specialized in healing magic. Slowly, Namean learned that his best trait was the ability to control the weather.
