Frilled Dragons are smaller than most other breeds, but when threatened, they stretch out their wings and frills to appear larger. They generally do not like to fight and prefer hiding to confrontation. Frilled dragons live in small groups and often band together to scare off potential threats. Males also use their frills as a way to attract mates, with those displaying the “best” frills being more likely to breed.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Magnificent Sentinel is the most social of RavenRyy's dragon children. While vain and a bit gullible, he's also very friendly and has a good sense of fun. He has his own watchtower to the north of RavenRyy's tower, that he considers his "sweet little nest". His duty is to keep an eye for invaders from the north and greet honoured guests. He flirts endlessly with his sister dragons (although they're not blood kin, so it's not creepy. Really.) But just in fun. Fatal Cloud hates him like poison, but the other dragons like him. He loves playing catch with Crimson Echo, and enjoys fine food, cheep wine and chocolate (tons of). Local adolescents consider him a muse, and he's painted countless times. He loves them for that, and often praises them for their work.

Adventures who assume that he's somehow the weakest link in RavenRyys security tend to go home battered, bruised, torn and with new limps. He takes his duty seriously.
