Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. This hatchling seems to be filled with a fell, inner flame.

And look! Its wings have grown, and it’s become bigger, more aggressive, and much hotter.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Little One is small for a hellfire who has gotten her coloring. So small in fact that her family opted to freeze her because her growth was so stunted. She is surprisingly strong for her size though, and fights with the heart of ten dragons according to her mother.
