Golden Wyverns are known for their beautiful metallic scales and rumored magical abilities. Living high in the mountains, these dragons do not believe in killing for sport or pleasure. They will hunt only when hungry and defend themselves when provoked, but will avoid killing to the best of their abilities. Golden Wyverns often mingle with other dragons of similar color and take pride in their shimmering hide.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Majesty is one of his master (Edeva)'s favorite dragons. He is also the only male among all of Edeva's favorites. Unlike the Wyverns in folklore, he is very gentle-hearted and does not like killing, same as his master, though people do not understand this until they get to know Majesty and his master a little more. But he will experience a cold-hearted bloodlust if his master is either in danger, or Edeva orders him to kill. This is due to the fact that Edeva has "a way with dragons," and teaches all of his dragons to obey his directions to the letter and without second thought; no dragon is an exception to this, and is why Edeva is known as "The Dragon-Whisperer." Majesty is very powerful, and he is so skilled at magic that there is a tribe of people that worship him, his master, and the rest of Edeva's favorite dragons.
