Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. Its skin is smooth and doesn’t seem to have any color to it.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Carpo is just a tad lazy. His day usually consists of sleeping, spacing out, lying on things and slugging around like a fatigued salamander.

He isn't surprised easily and doesn't have much for a sense of humor. Most don't bother trying to chat him up as he doesn't say much and what little he does is either insulting or painfully boring. He tends to be easily irritated but doesn't do much about it beyond quiet griping, making him a bit of a disappointing target for pranks.

He's among the older dragons in these caverns. Ironically despite his own growth being stunted he has a general dislike for hatchlings, and usually does his best to either ignore them or tune them out altogether.

Though he's very laid back and recognizes immaturity easily he's not exactly famous for being "well-learned" himself and for even the simplest question one is probably better off asking a rock.
