Sunbeam Drakes are the diurnal counterparts to Moonglow Drakes, their eggs having been laid during the daylight hours. They are around the size of a small dog, and while docile, can be flighty and easily startled. Most can be found high in treetops enjoying the bright sunlight, tucking themselves away at the first sign of a storm or impending nightfall. Sunbeam Drakes enjoy flying in the light of the sun, and their treetop dances are beautiful, dazzling, and serene.

Though it may appear at first that dragons and drakes have much in common, the two are completely separate species. Drakes are smaller and less intelligent than their cousin species, though both dragons and drakes sit comfortably near the top of the food chain. They are always found bearing antlers and leathery wings. Drakes share many of the same habitats that dragons do, and typically hunt in packs.

Spanish Dawn is a mighty creature to behold. Wings made of rich hues and lined with sparkling gold. He prides himself in bring joy to all those who know and see him. Flying high in the sky, he dances gracefully among the clouds. On Earth, he strolls through lush springtime fields and spreads his light to those who are without. He comes to the rescue of the innocent and protects the weak. Spanish Flair is also a kind lover. His one and only love is Spanish Flair. It is but a cruel fate that they cannot mate together.
