It was previously believed that purple dragons were exclusively female, but this is not the case. Recent environmental shifts have revealed the existence of both genders of this breed. Female behavior is well known; they are primarily herbivores but will eat meat during mating season. On the other hand, very little is known about the behavior and habits of male purple dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Most of the other dragons consider Nani to be a bit of a snob. Amorous advances have been ignored; this has led to quite a few disgruntled comments shared between the male dragons, ranging from the vaguely put-out to the down right rude. None of this concerns Nani, however. Far from being a snob, she is actually so focused on caring for her younger sister, Lilo, and Lilo's friend Stitch, that she doesn't have time for anything else. Nani has taken it upon herself to watch out for the two adventurous hatchlings as best she can; oftentimes this has her so distracted, or exhausted, that she completely misses the flirtations of her would-be suitors. Most nights it's all she can do to grab a bite to eat. Part of her resents her mother, Setsuna, for focusing her attentions on the hatchlings she's adopted, rather than her own biological offspring. However, Nani knows that Setsuna trusts her to care for Lilo, and it's this sense of responsibility, as well as her love, that drives her.
