When Water Dragons mature, they lose the ability to survive on land, entering the water permanently. They are adept swimmers and eat whatever fish are in the lake they live in. They tend to inhabit the same lake for their entire lives, although a few live in the ocean and swim all over the world.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. People can hear her call when they are underwater. The sound is like a humpback whale only more beautiful. Her story is a sad one; her mother left her to fend for herself. Life was hard for her but it all changed when she met another male of her kind. At first they started out as friends but later it blossomed to love. Later, they became lifemates. One day, her mate was out hunting. He then got attacked by a larger unknown kind of water dragon. Her mate died that evening though Casindra fails to accept the fact. She calls out to him in the deep ocean. The cry is long, sad, and heard for miles. But she never stopped looking for him. Casindra dreams of the day when she will see her mate again.
