Feisty and energetic, Whiptail Dragons pride themselves on their speed and agility. It is not unusual to see several whiptails racing each other. Though fragile, they can easily evade attacks with their superior speed, and often use their long tails as a weapon, giving rise to their name.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

High upon a mountain, just before there is snow, hidden behind bushes and trees lies a small cave. Therein a small colony of fluffy dragons reside during the warmer part of the year. Michelle Blitz rushed out of there and down to the valley. While she liked visiting her father, he was too lazy for her tastes. She was an active dragon, and she needed something more exciting in her life than a day long slumber party.

Perhaps her mother had a task for her. Most of her mother's kindred were hyperactive. They guessed that her father's genes were the reason for her relatively mellow composition. Still, she would certainly find someone to play with on the clan's ground. Maybe Aebby would challenge her to a race, or another competition. Those were fun, from time to time.
