White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Amirlugwen is the first bred dragon of the clan and she is treated like a princess. She enjoys that very much. Like her mother she loves daisies and lives near a meadow full of daisies in spring and summer. Three more eggs—all white—were with her in this clutch of eggs.

Amirlugwen is named in the Elvish tongue Sindarin. Her name means "female hope dragon". "Ar Dineth" is added to indicate that she belongs to Drachenbraut's clan. As the first breed, her name starts with an "A" as is customary.
