When Water Dragons mature, they lose the ability to survive on land, entering the water permanently. They are adept swimmers and eat whatever fish are in the lake they live in. They tend to inhabit the same lake for their entire lives, although a few live in the ocean and swim all over the world.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

BlueDeepWater Dragon lives in a river... quite unusual, as this breed seems to occupy lakes most of all. But he likes it there. Especially that he does not live far from the sea, so when he is bored with the riverside, he takes short trips to the salt water. There he can really enjoy the Deep Blue Water! Unfortunately there is a multitude of jellyfish in the sea and he really hates that. Therefore, eventually he comes back to his favorite spot in the river. There is a huge building nearby and he enjoys watching the people going in and out of it day by day he sometimes wonders what they do inside, because they look really tired when they leave. But, as he cannot live outside the water, this is to remain a mystery
