Nhiostrife Wyverns are one of the few known breeds of wyvern with more than one set of wings. Because of their four wings, Nhiostrifes are very nimble in the air and control their movements with ease. When it’s mating season, males put on a very beautiful and unique air dance in an attempt to charm a female. The amount of stripes on their wings vary, with more stripes being more attractive, although most have only two to four. Their general attitude is very passive and curious—they only fight if they or their families are in danger.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Neon is not a friendly dragon. He's bitter, cynical, cold, manipulative, and self-loathing. He doesn't take part in the monthly Dragon Council—which even Evan attends—and has been known to turn back messengers with very... disturbing... injuries.
The most infamous was a series of scratches that, in Elder Dragon runes, read as such:
'Hatred is a fire easily roused and difficultly quenched -
It grows with prodding, or festers if unattended -
Though sinks if unseen, and pushed aside.
So take heed of these words, and leave well enough alone,
Else feel the wrath of flames burning a hundred-fold.'
And, apparently having meant his words literally, the next messenger sent was found days later as little more than a pile of ashen remains. He admitted to doing it, pointed out that it was their fault for not heeding his words, and then disappeared into his Den in the confusion.
He hasn't come out since.
