Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Abingdon Silver was born with the prophecy that he would have a fate that surrounded the Abingdon Sword. Whether it was a good future or a bad one was left to question due to the many fates that intertwined with his path. He is a strong, good natured soul tutored by Darklinge and Honour Bound. However though a fairly good student he has the disposition at times to play rather than work. Thus he is a budding adventurer with good friends.
