Vampire Dragons are members of the undead. They sustain themselves by drinking the blood of others. It is said that they are only “alive” at night, and seem dead or asleep during the day, as they cannot endure sunlight for long periods of time. Vampire Dragons can only reproduce by changing the eggs of other dragons, puncturing the shell with their fangs and injecting venom that kills the baby inside.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Notoriously vigilant, Unahzaalbahlok has become the established leader of the nocturnal species within the Cave. When night falls, Unahzaalbahlok's duties include mentoring his own kind in overcoming the inherent bloodthirsty nature brought on by the undead curse. A Vampire himself, he doesn't advocate fasting for extended periods of time. Instead, Unahzaal instils the need for self control on his subordinates so they may feed without killing. Of course, once in a while a Vampire has a little too much to drink, resulting in Unahzaal having to negotiate suitable punishment.

Being in such a position of power, Unahzaalbahlok is often the target of Coven in-fighting, much to the male's ire... It goes without saying that once riled, this dragon becomes a foe to be reckoned with. If it weren't for his impressive self restraint, or more realistically, his mate Sahqondur's counsel, Unahzaal would have used violence to subjugate every resident within the cave, down to the last clucking hen.
