As the nocturnal relative to Sunbeam Drakes, Moonglow Drakes are a secretive breed most active under the light of the moons and stars. They are wary of others, but are known to have incredible loyalty should their trust be won. Catching sight of Moonglow Drakes as they dance amid the moonlight is seen as a favorable omen by those they live near, and tamed individuals are common. They are slightly smaller than their cousins, averaging around the size of a cat.

Though it may appear at first that dragons and drakes have much in common, the two are completely separate species. Drakes are smaller and less intelligent than their cousin species, though both dragons and drakes sit comfortably near the top of the food chain. They are always found bearing antlers and leathery wings. Drakes share many of the same habitats that dragons do, and typically hunt in packs.

This dragon's name suggests it can twitter like a nightingale, but that would be an understatement. Despite his timid nature, Tinuviel has a tendency to start singing opera at the top of his lungs when there doesn't appear to be anyone within earshot, or when he's showering in the downpour of a nearby waterfall. Although he does his best to be alone during his performances, he greatly underestimates the power of his voice, and the blast of opera can usually be heard by everyone in the area.
